Harry Barrett's new books are being introduced at the Eva Brook Donly Museum. On March 16 "Nature of Norfolk," was introduced.

THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING was held on - Sunday - March 14, 2010 at the Eva Brook Donly Museum. Special changes to the NHS Constitution were brought forward. We have lost a good friend.! Marilyn Haslinger, a NHS Director and long time Volunteer passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 6. The funeral was held at Baldocks Funeral home on Thursday, March 11. Our condolences go out to the family. We will really miss her.

The donation of Norfolk County artifacts and archival documents are also welcomed. Please contact the Curator to make the necessary arrangements.

Donations of used books to resupply the gift shoppe are always welcome. Special and rare books would be appreciated.

BUS TRIPS: The NHS organizes various bus trips as a service to its members and the general public. Our latest was a once in a lifetime chance to see the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Royal Ontario Museum. Watch for details on other upcoming trips!

GRANTS: The NHS gratefully acknowledges the support of various funding agencies including the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Summer Experience, Summer Canada Works, Young Canada Works, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Canadian Heritage, and the New Horizons for Seniors Program which helped fund the development of this website.

Children Heritage Adventure: This was a very successful program this past summer. Check out the theme days and the list of more than 40 businesses and indviduals that contributed to the Camp.
