One of the most popular annual events on our schedule is the annual Antique
Clinic, our own variation on TV's popular Antiques Roadshow. We
invite local experts to help us assess the attic treasures of those who want
answers about their collection or inherited heirlooms.
Jewelry, china, furnishings, medals, musical instruments, dolls, photographs, paintings, old money, and more all found their way to Antique Clinic 2004. All the while our video camera was rolling, recording the images for potential inclusion in NHS Overview. Alas, too much of that video footage ended up on the cutting room floor in an attempt to prevent NHS Overview from becoming an opus. Those sharing an interest in the world of antiques can now enjoy an extended look at Antique Clinic 2004. The online version of Antique Clinic
2004 runs almost five minutes, but that's the abbreviated version. The DVD
version is the extended Director's Cut, nine minutes in length. |
