David Avery, a volunteer with the Eva Brook
Donly Museum, provided the manpower for the display of information at
Product Information Exchange, 5 May 2023 at the Junior farmer's building in Simcoe.
About two dozen businesses and organizations set up for the tourism fair, to promote attractions normally aimed at out-of-town visitors to Norfolk County residents. David was available to let people know what Eva Brook Donly Museum has to offer to residents who have lived in Simcoe but haven't been to the museum recently, as well as the newcomers who were in attendance to learn what attractions are available to them. David was quite enthusiastic about the queries he had about what the museum has to offer. He reported a mixture of longtime and new residents came by to chat. Thank you to David for volunteering to staff our P.I.E. dispaly. Incidentaly, free pie was provided and David said that the homemade pies were delicious! |
