Why Donate

Established in 1900, the Norfolk Historical Society operates the Eva Brook Donly Museum and Archives, the longest continually operating independent museum in Norfolk County.

We have collected and maintain more than 200 years of local history, which includes artifacts, artwork, books, documents, photographs and other records. To aid in family history research, we have extensive records of old Norfolk families: genealogies, births, marriages, deaths, census and other records. A complete list can be found in our "Research" section.

The Norfolk Historical Society is a non-profit organization. We rely on government grants, memberships, donations and event revenue to meet our operating and programming expenses. Your support is very important to us. Please consider making a donation or becoming a member of the Norfolk Historical Society. Your support will assist us in our mission of preserving the history of Norfolk County. Your financial support may be tax-deductible.
