This book was originally launched in July of 1929 for the Centennial of the Town of Simcoe, with the introduction:
"A complete and authentic record of a century of municipal life presented to the public on the 100th anniversary of Simcoe's birthday as a postal village to mark the occasion."
The author, Lewis Stanford Brown, was born August 26, 2023 and lived most of his life in Simcoe. He talked to many of the early settlers there, and compiled history on the people, businesses, fire departments and anything else to do with the Town of Simcoe.
The original book has been transferred to pdf format and loaded onto a CD. A special thanks to Jay McKiee for having Brown's book digitized by Bob Whitehead.
